Lana Hughes is an independent artist & designer focusing on the art of Lettering, Typography & Chainstitch Embroidery, tucked in a quiet corner of East London with her accomplice Sumo the Doxiepoo (Sausage dog / poodle in case you were wondering!).
Each design revolves around bold typographic pieces that have an impact. Through the use of lettering & typography, Lana’s designs are brought to life with the focus and aim to inspire the viewer using positive & meaningful messages. Her designs can be seen around London, and she has, to date travelled to a bunch of overseas locations with work, including the Eiffel Tower & Cannes in France, & all the way to Vietnam & Australia.
Selected clients include Stella Magazine, MOO, CAMRA, British Airways, LinkedIn, Liberty, Southbank London, London Zoo, Kiehl's & Greggs, as well as becoming a published author in 2018, with the hand lettering book 'Forty ways to write I Love You'.
