Lana Hughes is a London based artist specialising in hand-lettering, typographic illustration & murals. With a huge love for type & painting, she spends her days creating & collaborating on a range of projects from editorial, branding & identity design to large scale murals. Working with brands both big & small, her works can be adapted to any number of projects suitable to just about every kind of brief. Inspired by travel, patterns & shadows in architectural works, bold typography & vintage signage, the works she creates reflect just that.
Hughes has created works for clients including Stella Magazine, Quest, MOO, CAMRA, British Airways, P&O Ferries, LinkedIn, Liberty of London, Southbank London, Studio Canal, London Zoo & Kiehl's… to name a few. As well as becoming a published author in 2018, with the hand lettering book 'Forty ways to write I Love You'.
The majority of her works are created in a quiet corner of North London with her accomplice Sumo the Doxiepoo (Sausage dog - poodle!), other times she is often busy hosting workshops and exhibiting works around the UK.
